-Are you coming for supper?-

The parable of great Supper
Luke 14:15-24

The people that Jesus had called to come and dine with Him are not ready, choked up by the cares of the world. But as God has sent His word, all He said shall come to pass.
V21 go and bring the poor, the maimed, lame, and the blind. – These are the people who need Jesus. These are the people who are ready to come.

V 23 Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in that my house is filled. – These are the people who ready to come, want to come into the house of God. One must be ready, willing to lay down their lives or put down what they have just to worship God.

The end time will come eventually; God is looking for people to have supper with Him. Are you coming for the supper?

God’s purpose for us is holiness – His own holiness which we are to share and to be. (1Pet.1:15-16) And the sole rout to that end is none other than discipline. Make a decision to lay down your life when you start to walk in that path.
