-When I am weak You are strong-
The message bible from 2 Cor 12 talks about Paul, who had weaknesses he hates and asked God to take it away those weaknesses... Me too I have weaknesses, limitations, "thorns" in flesh I hate... 3 times Paul asked Jesus to remove them.
7-10 "At first I didn't think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then He told me, My grace is enough; it's all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness.
v11 onwards,
Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness.
Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.
To come to think of it, even if we make a fool of ourselves and fall down when we are in His will, it is His responsiblity to direct us, if He led me to it, He will lead me through it. I am glad, it is not me who is in charge but He who is in charge of my life...
